Nampula distinguida como melhor expositora e província revelação da FACIM 2025

Nampula province was awarded the Best Exhibiting Province and Breakthrough Province prizes at the 60th edition of the Maputo International Fair (FACIM 2025)..

According to a Rigor NewspaperThis was announced this Saturday (30) during the official closing ceremony of the event, which ends today, Sunday (31). The award recognizes the exemplary organization of the Nampula stand, the hygiene, the layout of the products and the diversity of its economic display.

In his acceptance speech, Governor Eduardo Abdula stressed that the prize belongs to the people of the province:

"Congratulations to the huge team from Nampula. But I want to say that everything you see here is inspired by the people of Nampula. I love the people of Nampula and it is for them that we work. This award is not just for us here, but for the seven million people, around 20% of the country's population, who are the real owners of this achievement."

On the occasion, Abdula praised the province's distinction, stressing that "nobody goes into a championship thinking about defeat. We came with the aim of winning and we worked for it. These awards are the result of the efforts of a vast team of anonymous people who have dedicated themselves intensely."

The governor added that the distinctions represent an added responsibility for the province, especially since, during FACIM, the challenge of organizing the Nampula Economic Fair (FENA 2026) was launched.

"These victories give us confidence and motivation. We have to work harder and with more dedication, not only to have a great FENA, but also to return to the next edition of FACIM prepared to maintain the positions we have won today," he concluded.
